If you were to be asked have you ever told a lie? If you were to be asked have you ever stolen? Most of us would say yes and would be liable to pay a fine. Instead of us paying the fine or penalty God paid it all on our behalf. Jesus Christ paid the price to free us from the curse that God’s laws bring by becoming cursed instead of us.

Why did He pay the penalty? God loved the world that He gave His only Son that everyone who believes in Him will not die, but will have eternal life.

“Lord Jesus Christ, I know that I am a sinner, and I choose to repent this day. Forgive me of my sins. I believe in my heart and confess with my mouth that you died and rose from the dead for my justification. I ask You to come into my heart and life.
